The Grosvenor House is located in the same road as Dylan Thomas' former school and is a short walk from the house of his birth and childhood. Cwmdonkin Park, just around the corner, is where he spent many happy hours and was inspiration to many of his early poems. At the entrance to the lovely Gower Peninsular
lies Clyne Golf Club, its course commanding wonderful views in all
directions. It overlooks Swansea and Mumbles to the east, the Bristol Channel to the
South, the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons to the North. The Club was founded in
January 1920 as Clyne Golf Club Limited.
